The terms behind using Tafaal

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern use of Tafaal by schools, teachers, parents, and students. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you're using Tafaal on behalf of a school or as a teacher, you're agreeing on behalf of that organization as well as yourself.

Accounts and eligibility

Teacher and school accounts are created directly; student accounts are created using a teacher code or a school code and are intended to be set up and supervised by a parent, teacher, or school administrator. You're responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account.

Plans, billing, and codes

Teacher tiers are free and are assigned automatically based on student count. Schools subscribe to a single paid plan, billed in EGP. Students pay a flat subscription fee and unlock course content using a teacher or school code; a student's access is tied to the grade and courses associated with that code. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Tafaal is built for genuine teaching and learning. You agree not to share login credentials or codes outside their intended use, attempt to access another user's data, disrupt the platform, or use it for anything unlawful or harmful to other users, including minors.

Content and intellectual property

Courses, books, videos, activities, and other materials on Tafaal are owned by Tafaal or its licensors and are made available for use within the platform under your subscription. You may not copy, redistribute, or resell course content outside Tafaal without permission.

Teacher and school codes

A teacher or school code links a student's account to that teacher's classes or school's package for the purpose of unlocking the right courses. Codes should only be shared with students who are actually enrolled with that teacher or school; misuse may result in the code being reset or the account being suspended.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, including misuse of codes or repeated abusive behavior. Schools and teachers can request account or data removal by contacting us, subject to any records we're required to retain.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Tafaal is provided "as is." We work to keep the platform available and accurate but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, Tafaal isn't liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new date, and notify school administrators of any significant change.
